Fund Raising

Purchase a Paver- Make your child a celebrity with their own paver on the courtyard in front of the school!  Don't wait until they graduate - let them enjoy seeing their name while they attend Lanier.  A 4" by 8" paver costs $100.00 and allows 14 characters per line and 2 lines.  A 8" by 8" paver costs $200 and allows 14 characters per line and 3 lines of text.  Paver order forms can be found in the Forms section of this website.
For more information, contact Zulay Vann at zulayvann@sbcglobal.net.

Matching gift employers- Make your volunteer efforts at Lanier pay off in a big way. Your generosity will be matched by an additional corporate gift. See if your employer is a participant in the matching gift program.

Mini-Directories- This is a convenient pocket-sized directory that contains a student's name, address, home number and cell number, plus the cell number's for his or her mom and dad. This will be the best $5.00 you ever spent when you are not at home and desperately need a number or address!

Snack Shack- Snack Shack began in the spring of 2005 as an avenue to replace some of the revenue lost when the sale of competing lunches was prohibited by the state of Texas. Snacks, water and gatorade are sold to students every afternoon after school. This is a real bonus to students who remain after school for various activities.  There are many healthy choices available, such as yogurt, nuts and trail mix.

Lanier Gear- Lanier Gear is for students, teachers and even parents! Show your school spirit and make a contribution to keeping Lanier great, all at the same time. Lanier Gear does NOT qualify as uniform attire.  Photos of items are available at  http://ms.houstonisd.org/lanierms/LanierGear.htm

Parent / Teacher Party- Enjoy meeting your child's teachers in a pleasant, low-stress environment while savoring a frozen margarita and Cadillac Bar's famous Mexican food. Tickets to the party are $25.00, which allows the PTO to make a little money! The primary focus of this fund-raiser, however, is fun and friendship.
