William (Bill) Shell was recently announced as the new principal for Lanier Middle School, replacing Julia Dimmit who was promoted to Executive Principal within the Central Region of HISD.  Mr. Shell comes to us from Colorado Springs, Colorado and has many years of administrative experience as a middle school principal.  He also has extensive experience as a consultant with the International Baccalaureate Programme, critical since Lanier is the only middle school in HISD with the program.  Meet Bill at the Back to School Celebration Thursday, August 21.
