Message from Our PTO President
Dear Lanier Families,
I'm Sue Church and I am honored to serve as the Lanier PTO President for the 2026-2027 school year! Welcome to our new families and welcome back to existing families!
For those of you who may be new to Lanier, the Purple Page is our weekly newsletter which is full of important information. Please make sure to read it to stay informed!
Over the summer we worked around campus to make a safer, healthier environment for our students - sealing and cleaning the building, finishing the stair tread replacement, replacing floor tiles, pulling out old carpet, painting, addressing HVAC issues and several other small fixes around the building!
We have already kicked off our annual Raise Your Paws fundraiser to fund more campus projects, as well as fund teacher appreciation, curriculum support, classroom supplies, professional development and more. We hope we can count on the support of all families.
The PTO also needs your help with planning and hosting student events like the 6th Grade Social, Homecoming, and the 8th Grade "Great 8" celebratory events. We are also planning our annual Parent- Teacher social in the fall and a Centennial Pup Cup gala in the spring. More information about how to volunteer is below.
In order to be successful, it will take all of us pitching in however we can. Through teamwork, mutual respect, communication and a shared commitment to our mission, we can accomplish great things together!

The Lanier Middle School PTO publishes this weekly newsletter (The Purple Page) during the school year. Deadline for submission in the Purple Page is Wednesday at 5:00pm.
It is the responsibility of the coaches, sponsors, teachers, parents or team members of an event or activity to submit information to the Purple Page editor.
With so many competitions, performances, club happenings and sports events we rely on submissions.
We want to showcase Lanier students, teachers and staff in all they do.
